Final Reflection
The most formative experience for
me during this class was making idea napkins because this showed me how I like
to organize my thoughts. The experience from this class that I will remember
for years to come will probably be the different books we read throughout the semester.
My most joyous experience was creating a customer avatar because it was
interesting and entertaining to think about the exact person that would be interested
in my product. Lastly, I am most proud of the ‘growing my social capital
assignment’ because I feel like I managed to get some really good advice and wisdom
from people that I didn’t know very well.
I am not sure if I see myself as an
entrepreneur but I do believe that I have more of an entrepreneurial mindset. I
don’t think I have the necessary bravery to take on an entire venture, but I think
about opportunities and problems a little differently and more explicitly now.
One recommendation I have for
students who are taking this class in the future is to make sure the venture they
decide to focus on is something they’re very passionate about and interested
in. That will make it easier to think about all of the different aspects of the
product that they will need to dissect for the purposes of this class.

Archie!
ReplyDeleteThat is some great advice in the last paragraph that I wish I took myself. Honestly, I felt kind of stuck with my opportunity because its not something I care about and at the time, I had nothing else to think of. But it turned out okay. It's cool to see what assignments each person liked the most because you can kind of tell their personality... Idea napkins, you're a creative person. Reading reflection, you love books and learning new things.
Archie,
ReplyDeleteI also loved the idea napkins! They are great for any ideas, not just business ventures. I definitely have to agree that passion IS VERY important when it comes to this class. Otherwise, the assignments wont be as meaningful and they will be far more difficult than they need to be. I wish you luck and hope that your idea can come to life.
